Sending Hogs, sweet hedgehog greetings card.

SENDING HOGS. Usually I hate puns, but for some reason I find them completely hilarious when on a t shirt or a greetings card, as I'm sure you do as well!

This hedgehog-rich card is an original design, hand-printed using cruelty free inks on a 5" by 7" card, either a cream card or recycled brown Kraft card- NB the Kraft card is a slightly different colour from what it looks like in the photo- I will update when I get a chance to take another pic.

The card is blank inside for your own message and comes with a matching envelope; it will come to you protected by cardboard to prevent damage in transit.

Most of my designs are inspired by wildlife-  including several other hedgehog designs. I've been selling online since 2012 to raise funds for and awareness of wildlife campaigns and issues, and I still donate 10% of my online profits to wildlife rescue.

I have always loved hedgehogs and in my years involved in rescuing wildlife I have looked after dozens of these wonderful animals.

Here are some tips to help protect hedgehogs:

Please try and remember to put a SHALLOW bowl of drinking water (not milk!) out for wildlife in hot weather- many hedgehogs are brought into rescues and wildlife hospitals fatally dehydrated from not having access to water during hot weather. Another thing you can do to help hedgehogs is never stick a garden fork straight into a compost heap- I have seen many hedgehogs fatally injured ni this way and many babies orphaned. And, if you have a bonfire, always relocate the wood from where it's been sitting before setting fire to it, as it's not uncommon for hedgehogs to seek shelter inside bonfire piles.

Many hedgehogs sustain fatal injuries every year from garden strimmers so if you use a strimmer please do not strim below the level of your knees in order to make sure that you don't injure a hedgehog as when they hear a strimmer they will not run away as would most wildlife, but stay put and curl up in a ball so they are incredibly vulnerable to injury.
